The Culture War Is Still On - Pacific south Morning Journal

A barely disguised invasion of the United States has been underway for many years now. Basically slow and unobtrusive, it has steadily replaced the “white” population of several western states by two factors: migration from Central America and fecundity (birth rate).
Today the Latino population outnumbers the Europeos in California, and Latinos/Hispanics are the 2nd largest ethnic group in the entire country at nearly 18%, blacks being 3rd at under 14% (see the 3rd block of the census.gov link in comments).
The future of the American Southwest can be seen in the California schools, where 25% of students identify as “white” and more than 50% as Latino/Hispanic.
My criterion for differentiating between Latinos and Hispanics is that if you were born in this hemisphere and are predominantly indigenous racially and a native Spanish speaker, you’re Latino, whether from Chile, Guatemala, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, or the US. If you’re predominantly of European ancestry, speak Spanish, and born in this hemisphere, you’re Hispanic.
I have no idea if that’s a common determinant or if I just formulated it and told myself to run with it. But the point is that European families in this country are not having babies at the same rate per female as other groups, especially Latinos, and will not be in the numerical majority by mid century projecting current trends.
So for simplicity’s sake, let’s just call everybody who was born in this hemisphere and speaks Spanish a Latino, since the vast majority of them are primarily of indigenous racial stock and often even the “high” mestizos call themselves Latino.
Now, race is not particularly important to me in this matter, but culture certainly is, and I consider Mexico a failed state in terms of social justice, economics, morals, public health, politics, crime statistics, and several other features tied directly to politics and management.
Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries on the planet to live in and has well over 3 times the homicide rate of the US. In three months last year, Tijuana had almost as many murders (530) as Chicago did all year. In fact, in 2017, Tijuana had 1734 homicides while San Diego, 20 miles north and just about the same size in population, had 34, many of which were Mexican gang related.
Without the tons of cash sent back to Mexico each year by braceros and loyalistas and the income from tourism and drug trafficking, the place would be worse than many of the African nations, or Haiti, or today’s Venezuela.
Some quotes from various prominent Latinos in the past few years:
Augustin Cebada, Brown Berets. “Go back to Boston! Go back to Plymouth Rock, Pilgrims! Get out! We are the future. You are old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you. Leave like beaten rats. You old white people. It is your duty to die. Through love of having children, we are going to take over.” Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council, “They’re afraid we’re going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They’re right. We will take them over…We are here to stay.” Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico, “The American Southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot.” Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas, “We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population… I love it. They are ___ with fear. I love it.” Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party, “Remember 187 — proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens — was the last gasp of white America in California.” Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor, “We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country…I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, “I’m going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back.” Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton. “California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn’t like it should leave.” Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General, “We are practicing ‘La Reconquista’ in California.” “Todos los Europeos son Illegals desde 1492.” (Lost the source for that quote)
The word for all this is Reconquista, and its goal is to “reconquer” the “lost” or “stolen” territories for “La Raza” — the race indigenous to Central America and the American West.
Millions of people have simply sneaked into the US, living here and even producing children which are then by birth US citizens, but many swear allegiance to Mexico. By increasing numbers, the Reconquistas believe that eventually they will be able to completely control local communities politically and then finally secede legally from the US and join Mexico.
Many of those who come here become loyal American citizens and serve as dedicated members of police, military, and business organizations. But even those tend to harbor a longing for a return to days of past glories before the European invasion.
Maps of the envisioned indigenous utopia already exist and include vast regions of the Southwest. In Mexican schools and even some “Hispanic Studies” programs in the US, children are taught that Europeos “stole” the continent from native peoples.
Well, that’s true, I suppose, but the same thing has been going on for millennia as a normal behavior of large hairless apes – called “survival of the fittest.”
The Reconquista is essentially a Trojan Horse scheme using American law to get citizenship, one way or another, so that one day they’ll have the votes to rebuild Aztlan: “You are an aging, white America. You are not making babies. You are dying off. It’s only a matter of time. The explosion is in our population.”
Aztlan is the mythical birthplace of the Aztec people and includes most of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Several different activist groups such as Moviemento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán, the “Chicano Student Movement of Aztlán,” more often abbreviated to MEChA, promote a racist agenda of “Chicanismo” designed to incite feelings of self-determination and drive the “liberation” of Aztlan from the Europeos.
To that end, they often share goals similar to the socialists and communists and African-American groups for destroying the “colonialist” and “imperialist” whites who exploit native peoples, forcing them to work for “slave wages” while living in fear of deportation, racism, and poverty in old age.
I just don’t get why people in megalopolises and particularly the elite enclaves of southern and central California are so intent on establishing sanctuary and basically open borders for people whose mere presence in their communities violates existing law.
Most of the Mexican people I’ve known personally are basically law-abiding, God-fearing, friendly, hospitable sorts who love children and cause far less trouble for society than the entitlement junkies in big cities.
But to irrationally reject The Wall simply Trump wants it, even though by reducing the flood of illicit drugs, illegal migrants, and incipient crime it would pay for itself in the long run, seems politically and economically suicidal spite. And to harbor known felons – rapists, drug pushers, muggers, DUIs – out of some distorted belief that it will improve relations between local LEOs and low-income neighborhoods? RUSM?
Yes, I understand that SOMEbody has to keep those Brentwood lawns manicured and those Park Avenue penthouse bathrooms spotless, but we’re in a war, a cultural war, and we’re going to lose, either to Aztlan or to Islam, because the way in which we are NOT dealing with it puts time on their side and all they have to do is wait for the collapse as their numbers increase.
Build the damned wall. Deport the gangbangers. Stop the flow of cash to a failed government. Grind up a few drug dealers and feed them to the javelinas.
Or, enjoy your entitlements while you can and encourage your grandchildren to learn Spanish and quote the Qur’an.
