Stick to your guns- Build That Wall - Pacific South Morning Journal ®

Submitted by G. Jones      I f Trump has a mandate from voters for anything, it is building this wall to help secure our borders. Fulfilling this mandate is all the more vital given the madness of the immigration position of Democrats: sanctuary cities; catch and release; no voter IDs; abolishing ICE (i.e., having no border security at all.) These policies are -- to say the least -- far away from where most American voters are on immigration. Conservative and centrist voters are much more in line with Trump's position: that a nation without borders is no nation at all. This is a political fight that Republicans should be relishing on the eve of the election. Border security vs. no borders at all. Democrats are so in bed with a radical fringe that they are handing Republicans the issue of the decade on a silver platter. Yet Republicans are huddled in the fetal position on immigration. The Washington Post headline from last week said it all: Congress...

Why The NFL Has An Attendance Problem – It’s More Than You Think! - Pacific South Morning Journal

O nly in America! Aside from NFL players disrespecting the American flag by kneeling during the National Anthem, this is much better perspective about why the NFL’s attendance problem is growing. This is interesting – No ambiguity here! Here is a little NFL history, not often reported or leaked to the ticket holders, to understand just when the public’s respect for the NFL organization started to crumble. In 2012 the NFL had an issue with Tim Tebow kneeling for each game to pray, they also had an issue with Tebow wearing John 3:16 as part of his eye-black to avoid glare, and made him take it off. In 2013 the NFL fined Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats to raise awareness for people with mental health disorders. In 2014 Robert Griffin III (RG3) entered a post-game press conference wearing a shirt that said “Know Jesus Know Peace” but was forced to turn it inside out by an NFL uniform inspector before speaking at the podium. In 2015 DeAngelo Williams was f...

The three were caught in separate operations in Pasig and Cavite. Article By: C. Marquez     T hree foreigners will be deported for overstaying in the country, the Bureau of Investigation (BI) said on Wednesday. BI Commissioner Jaime Morente said the three were caught in separate operations in Pasig and Cavite. “They will be deported for overstaying, as these foreign nationals never bothered to extend their stay when their tourist visa expired,” Morente said in a statement. BI Acting Intelligence Chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. said two British nationals Kevin Hadfield, 68, and Kevin Stanley Eifert, 67, were nabbed on Sept. 3 in Bacoor town and Dasmariñas City in Cavite province, respectively. Both have been overstaying in the country since 2008. Meanwhile, an American national, Todd Null, 49, was also arrested last September 3rd for overstaying in the country since 2015. Morente reminded foreigners staying in the country to update and ensure the validity of their visas. “F...

We Need a Revolution in Trade Enforcement -Pacific South Morning Journal -

Newt Gingrich Since he was a candidate, President Trump has said free trade must also be fair. He has consistently challenged anti-competitive and unfair practices by our trading partners while working to forge new agreements. The most recent example of this is the announced deal with Mexico – which his critics had claimed would never happen – and the potential deal with Canada, which has been spurred and shaped by Trump’s toughness. President Trump’s success in international trade is happening because he understands every trade partner is self-interested and, if allowed, will take actions to benefit their own population and economy. Since the United States is the largest market in the world this gives us enormous leverage in negotiating trade deals. While the tough negotiating approach has been working, there is a key piece missing. For Trump’s trade revolution to work, there must be a revolution in trade enforcement. It doesn’t matter how fair and equitable new trade agr...
